Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information, such as your name, email address, profile details, and account role.
• Google sign-in information. If you choose Google login, we receive the basic profile information you authorize, typically your name, email address, profile image, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
• Campaign and support activity, including campaign participation, confirmed support, ranking history, reward entitlements, refunds, and delivery status.
• Payment and campaign-credit records. Payment processors handle full payment credentials; FanRank keeps transaction references and the records needed to allocate Credits, issue refunds, and calculate creator payouts.
• Creator content and files uploaded for campaign rewards, together with delivery and download records.
• Technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, timestamps, security events, and usage logs.

2. How we use information

• Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide creator and fan dashboards.
• Operate campaigns, calculate rankings, confirm support, assign reward access, deliver private download links, and process eligible refunds and creator payouts.
• Send service messages about campaigns, settlement, delivery, refunds, and account security, subject to applicable preferences and limits.
• Prevent fraud and abuse, enforce platform rules, troubleshoot failures, and improve FanRank.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment-network, and regulatory obligations.

3. Google user data

FanRank uses Google user data only to let you sign in, create or connect your FanRank account, display the profile information you choose to share, and keep that account secure. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google services through this login flow.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. When information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate FanRank: with infrastructure, authentication, email, storage, analytics, fraud-prevention, and payment providers; with creators or supporters where necessary to run a campaign and deliver rewards; during a business transaction; or when required by law or needed to protect people, rights, and the service. Public campaign rankings show nickname or anonymous name and rank, not support amounts or Credits.

Service providers may process information only for the services they perform for us and under appropriate contractual and security obligations.

5. Retention, security, and international processing

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and entitlement records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

FanRank and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You can disconnect Google access from your Google Account settings; doing so does not automatically delete your FanRank account or records we must retain.

7. Age limits and changes

FanRank is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy as the product or law changes and will post the revised date here; material changes may also be communicated through the service.
